These terms govern your use of the Mò iOS application ("the app"), published by Urban Algorithm LLC ("we," "us"). By installing or using Mò you agree to them. They're short on purpose.
Mò is a Chinese-vocabulary flashcard app. The app and the content bundled with it (words, sentences, audio, radical breakdowns) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, decompile, modify, or resell the app or its content.
Mò is offered free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. The app may, in future versions, add paid features — if it does, the terms will be updated and the change will be surfaced clearly inside the app before any payment is taken.
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Mò will not make you fluent in Mandarin on its own; it is one of several tools we hope you'll use alongside conversation, reading, and grammar study.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Algorithm LLC and its representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of study progress, or any indirect economic loss.
Mò collects no personal data. See the privacy policy for details.
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be surfaced inside the app on the first launch after they ship.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
